The William Mohr Medal is the highest award reserved exclusively for
Arilbred
Irises (irises that contain from 1/4 to less than 1/2 Aril) within the American Iris Society.
This list contains only aril-bred Median irises. The definition of an aril-bred median changed in 2018 to include irises of half or less aril ancestry ranging in height from 13 inches to 22 inches, inclusive. Prior to 2018, it included aril-bred irises in the height range of a median iris.

The C. G. White Medal
The C. G. White Medal is the highest award reserved exclusively for Aril-Arilbred Irises (Irises that are 1/2 or more Aril) within the American Iris Society.

AR - refers to Aril Iris.
AB - refers to Arilbred Iris.
Aril-Arilbred Irises - Aril to 1/2 or more Aril
Arilbred Irises - 1/4 to less than 1/2 Aril
Aril-median - Cross between Aril & a dwarf or median iris, which also meets the
height requirements for classification as a median iris
Arilbred-median - Cross between Arilbred & a dwarf or median iris, which also
meets the height requirements for classification as a median iris
